Learning is fun!

The books are awesome! The kids have been showing their books to the rest of the class, to Azul, Laura and Fifth graders. We have learnt a lot about each other and the Writing Process.  Thanks for your always support!  Here are some photos : PREWRITING AND DRAFTING! 

Our final project as First Graders is a book about themselves.  They will become real authors, we have going through the Writing Process along the year in a very friendly way but now I have shown them the writing process steps formally. This book about themselves will be done during class time and homework, the publishing part of the book needs to be done at home.  Photos or drawings have to be included. This project counts as one of the following final grades of your child: Writing, Oral and Effort.  The due date is June 11th . They will be showing their books in the following days. We will also share them with the other groups and teachers as if it was a "Book Festival" with the presence of the authors. I would like to share the posters of the Writing Process so you know what we are working on.
